LaBarre Dressage offers a wide variety of training options for both you and your horse.

In-house training programs
Training programs are tailored to meet the needs of each horse based on age, training stage, horse fitness and owner goals. Before a horse enters a training program, Michelle will discuss all of the above factors and an initial plan will be created. Because training is dynamic, the plan may evolve as the needs of the horse and the owner are reassessed over the stay. Training programs can include exclusive training by Michelle, a combination of training by Michelle and her assistant, or the addition of owner rides into the work week. During fair weather, trail riding can also be included.
Michelle trains and re-tunes horses through Grand Prix Dressage. She is also happy to compete your horse, start young horses as well as correct behavior and straightness issues. Thanks to the heated indoor and well insulated arena at Voltra Farm, Michelle is able to keep her business in upstate New York year around without losing training days to inclement weather. LaBarre Dressage at Voltra Farm means that you and/or your horse’s training do not have to go on hold during the winter months.
